Terms & Conditions for Participation in Apex Rugby Academy Camps & Skills Clinics:
PARENTAL AUTHORITY: The parents acknowledges and agrees that Apex Rugby Academy is not responsible for any:– loss or damages of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising– injuries of any nature that your child may suffer– loss of or damage to property. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees. The parent(s) authorise(s) the coaches while in loco parentis to take and/or authorise, in good faith, all decisions that safeguard and promote the welfare of the participant. The parent(s) consent(s) to such physical contact with the participant as may be lawful, appropriate and proper for coaching and to provide comfort if the participant is in distress, or to maintain safety and good order. The parent(s) also consent(s) to medical treatment, including first aid and the administration of ice packs, plasters and topical treatments. Contact with parent's will be sought if required. If it becomes necessary for any of the participants registered by me to receive emergency dental or medical treatment and I cannot be contacted by telephone or other means to authorize this, I hereby give my general consent to any emergency dental or medical treatment and authorize a staff member from the camp to sign any documents required by the hospital authorities.
CODE OF CONDUCT: Our values of Enjoyment, Respect & Mindset are important to the running of our camps. Our camps are designed to be enjoyed by every participant and along with this, we expect the highest standards of behaviour and conduct on all of our Apex Rugby Academy camps. If a child does not adhere to these guidelines, their Parent/Guardian will be informed. Should a participant be removed from the camp because of unacceptable behaviour or significant breach of good conduct, the parent(s) accept(s) that no refund will be made. The parent(s) however, authorise the use of legal, appropriate and proper discipline and encouragement, to maintain good discipline and good order. It is a condition of remaining on the camp that the parent(s) and participants accept the Camp regime, the maintenance of good order, discipline and courtesy towards the coaches and fellow attendees.
PHOTOGRAPHY: By booking this camp you agree to allow photographs taken of your children at camps to be used within future marketing materials and placed on the official website. Please indicate below if you do not wish your son/daughter's photograph/imagery to be included in such future productions.
CANCELLATION: As you will appreciate we are a small operating business trying to ensure all young rugby players enjoy their rugby and we strive to make our prices affordable for all. Please note that cancellations made up to 4 weeks prior to the camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to the camp will receive a 50% refund of camp fee. Any cancellation made after this time will not be refunded. In the event on an long term injury the player can receive credit for a future camp / skills clinic. In the event of factors out with our control (COVID-19 Restrictions), that result in the cancellation of a camp, a full refund will be given to registered participants * Any injuries during our rugby camp or skills clinics unfortunately are not eligible for a refund
